Kim Moo-gyeom, the ace of England’s Premier League team Greenford, a world star, the star of Asian soccer, and the ace and troublemaker of the Korean national soccer team. To repay the kindness of his middle school teacher who guided him onto the path of soccer, he endures public criticism and even forfeits his salary to volunteer for exactly one year on loan to the K-League team City Seoul.
There, he encounters Lee Ha-joon, his same-age rookie physical coach. They definitely went to the World Cup together once and were called up to the national team a few times, yet he’s a man who strangely doesn’t linger in his memory at all. Even at City Seoul, Ha-joon subtly avoids Moo-gyeom.
A mere rookie coach daring to discriminate against me, Kim Moo-gyeom? But it didn’t take long for Moo-gyeom to pick up on the ‘odd vibe’ from Ha-joon, who had been dodging him like that.
